  1. Hi A.S.!
That was fun! I look foward to hearing who the cover winner is! I enjoyed your post. Have a wonderful your day:)

    1. D.L. Finn,

I also look forward to seeing who wins. I think I am more anxious to see who the winner is with this cover wars than I was the one my book was in last weekend.

    1. Michelle,

One of my sons picked it because he said the tattoos on the guy on the cover were interesting. I am also glad you liked the surprise you got seeing your cover as one picked. I know none of the covers in the voting are mine and yet I am on pins and needles just waiting to see who wins.

  2. This was a fun post. Great way to get us all involved.
Seems your sons have critical eyes when it comes to covers. There were a lot of good ones on there. Made it difficult to choose.

  3. I enjoyed your take on cover wars. That was a lot of fun, with some wonderful covers involved. Your books sound interesting too (I looked them up on Amazon). Hope you enjoy your party day and thanks for a great post!

    1. Maggie,

I just told them to go through and pick four covers they wanted to see in a cover wars. So long as it was found on the RRBC website they were free to choose the ones they wanted. Now if they chose one that someone else had already chosen I did tell them to go back and find a different one. They did tell me they had a hard time narrowing it down to just four covers each. 🙂

    1. Robert,

I have to agree with you and everyone else that says it is difficult to decide on a cover. I think my boys picked such great book covers that I am glad I am not doing any voting because I honestly don’t think I could pick just one. 🙂

  4. Great idea for the contest A.S. Great party thus far. One of the covers caught my eye months ago and got my vote. I took a look at your books as well. The snippets slapped me in the face. These have to be MUST READ books! I don’t think we’ve met before, but I am enjoying getting to know you now. Party on!

    1. Larry,

Thank you. I am glad we get to meet now. RRBC seems so big and I like the idea that blog hops and different activities hosted by RRBC allows everyone to come together and get to know each other more.

    1. Robin,

I am the same. I love my Kindle Unlimited Membership, I grab a lot of different books to read and as my thank you I do leave them honest reviews.

    1. Shirley,

I signed up for the RRBC Blog Hop Block party. However, it was my idea to do a cover wars. The readers gifts will be given out by me but RRBC will pick the winners for those 3 gifts. The winner of the cover wars is chosen by readers voting and I am the one giving out the prize to the cover war winner.

    1. Jan,

Glad you liked the surprise. I am not telling which of my sons pick that one. In fact I think it is probably best not to tell which boy picked which covers. That way they remain blameless in these shenanigans of mine.

  5. Cool Cool Cool!! I love book covers and I love your idea to have a vote on this blog! Good luck to the contestants! Some great choices there. Thanks for your post and sharing your work with us.

  6. That was interesting and fun to look at all the books covers that have been narrowed down to 12! I voted and am anxious to see the results.
Hope you are having fun at the blog party…I am.
